Board of Directors

After growing up in the greater Portland/Vancouver area, Catherine was first introduced to the L’Arche Spokane community as a college volunteer. This encounter left a lasting impression and following grad school at WSU (Go Cougs!) Catherine felt called to return to L’Arche as a live-in assistant in Spokane. She has since enjoyed being active in the community in whatever way possible, most recently by joining the Board, and then becoming Board President in 2024. Catherine lives in Cheney with her husband, Shane, and their two children.

Ryan joined the board in 2018 and has had various roles on the board. He works in insurance.

Debra is a psychologist and joined the board in 2023. She has had previous board or volunteer experience with Shalom, Washington State Disability Rights, Washington State Psychology Association, and the Washington State Ethics Committee.

Michael joined the Board at the end of 2024. He is the CFO for KT Contracting Company, and has worked as a financial advisor and investment counselor, a paralegal, business consultant and a certified tax preparer.

Tiffany joined the board at the end of 2024. She is the Assistant Director of Campus Engagement at Gonzaga.

Todd is a 4^th generation Spokane native with an educational/career background in project and construction management and commercial real estate.  His L’Arche experience has surpassed 40 years with direct duties in the L’Arche communities in Toronto and Choluteca Honduras, as well as volunteer positions with the L’Arche Spokane board, including multiple terms as President.

Bruce joined the board in 2019. He is a Student Activities Coordinator for the Community Colleges of Spokane.
